After a brief introduction from the illustrator Mark Schultz, we are invited to enjoy his stunning artistry with a selection of his sketches & completed drawings, the majority of which have never been published.

Mark Schultz rose to prominence with his classic vision of a prehistoric past: Xenozoic Tales, also known as Cadillacs & Dinosaurs. But he is also known for his superb drawings of Robert E. Howard’s Conan of Cimmeria & Blanchard Family Picnic and these sketches and others in this magnificent volume testify to the versatility & brilliancy of Mark Schultz.


There are 49 preliminaries, sketches, and finished brush and ink pieces are showcased, with an oversized gatefold (double page fold out) of a completed commission of Blanchard Family Picnic.
