Here’s a MODESTY BLAISE – ORIGINAL Pen & Ink by Jim Holdaway & Signed by the artist.

 It’s a very EARLY ORIGINAL MODESTY BLAISE strip by one of the great masters of illustration, the brilliant Jim Holdaway.

This superb Piece of Original Art is from the Modesty Blaise strip ” THE LONG LEVER ” (by Peter O’Donnell) & is numbered 187. The daily strips ”THE LONG LEVER” appeared in the London Evening Standard 23 September 1963 – 2 January 1964 – (strips 115 – 211).

These very early strips by Jim Holdaway are rather scarce as several have been destroyed, many are very yellowish with tears which unfortunately have gone through the artwork. This board is in Excellent Condition.
